Jaxon Link Jenkins was born April 6th at 3:27am via emergency c-section, weighing 7lbs 2 ounces and in perfect health. I am so utterly in love with him!

Me and the new love of my life.

Yes, I’m aware I look like I got hit by a truck. I took a serious beating delivering this little peanut. Surprise induction. 15 hours of labor. Morphine. Epidurals that came too late. Emergency C-Section that ended in sedation. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Maybe I’ll share my (nightmare) birth story with you some day… when I’m over the trauma of it.

All I can say is, he was worth it. The world is a better place now that he’s in it.
